I did not think we'd get to include such an ardent Intelligent Design advocate on this site, but Behe merits inclusion with his inaccurate claims about HIV in his new book, The Edge of Evolution.

Behe uses HIV as an example of how evolution has not and can not produce any novel adaptations, genes or protein binding sites through the process of evolution. As it turns out, HIV is a rather bad example for him to have chosen.

Blogger Abbie Smith has a pretty clear explanation that makes sense to even us non-biologists as to why Behe is so very wrong:
